4Culture | Mixed Use, 2005

4Culture is a King County agency in charge of funding and managing programs in the arts, heritage, historic preservation, and public art.The project scope included a gallery/exhibit space, office space for 25 King County employees, conference room, art collections storage, grant funding storage, and a resource library. SPD’s architectural team collaborated with multiple parties and agencies throughout the project, while managing a tight budget and driving the rapid construction schedule. We also worked closely with the Pioneer Square Review Board to ensure compliance and preserve the integrity of the original building.
