In 2016, we founded a construction and fabrication company rooted in the belief that ‘making’ is fundamental to great design.

SPD Construction Services is staffed only by trained architects and was conceived as a means to instill the fundamentals of making into our practice.

All of our construction projects are designed in-house – they range from small specialty jobs to custom furniture pieces.

Design staff are invited to participate in pouring concrete, staining siding, or bluing steel. Hands-on building enriches our design process.
