Canlis renovation featured in The Seattle Times

In today’s The Seattle Times: “CANLIS FACELIFT: The Seattle fine-dining classic not only has a new chef and is looking proactively at $15, it’s also about to get bigger: The lounge will be overhauled this winter, under the direction of esteemed local architect George Suyama. Brian Canlis reports that the wall along the lounge area will be pushed out, with the bar getting enlarged enough to accommodate a much-needed second bartender. “It’ll be beautiful,” he says […] Also possibly in the works: a rooftop deck, “not for guests, but for staff” – part of the Canlis initiative to be as great a place to work as it is to dine.” — Article by Bethany Jean Clement, The Seattle Times food writer / Photo by Dean Rutz, The Seattle Times
