Oakley

Suyama Peterson Deguchi designed the exterior concept for retailer Oakley, a prototype that was then adapted at several locations nationwide. Elements of the design include a facade treatment of fractured planes as well as a logo treatment that entices shoppers from around the corner at the retailer’s 5th Avenue store. The design along the side of the store’s street facade echoes the speed of traffic, lights and pedestrian movement at this frenetic Midtown location.

In early 2015, Chain Store Age named the store among its Top 10 Must-See Retail Stores in NYC.
“From its tectonic-plated exterior to its floating digital ceiling, Oakley dazzles with its combination of technological innovation and personalization.”
